Midwives Standing Strong: COHI's Village Midwife Training in Sudan

The COHI Sudan project closed due to the departure of the program manager, Erica Meadows.  In her year in Sudan, Erica worked closely with a small local NGO and established links with women's health organizations based in Sudan to support the training of local, Sudanese midwives.  COHI hopes that the political situation in Sudan will improve and that COHI may be able to reestablish its presence in the country.
