On behalf of Circle of Health International's Tanzanian field team, it is our pleasure to invite you to join us in honoring mothers everywhere for Mother's Day. Four of your fellow MSIHers are heading to COHI's field site in rural Tanzania to conduct a maternal child health ethnography and to shadow local midwives during their summer break. Help them raise funds to contribute to the local women's health organization that will be hosting them!

Tanzanian Traditional birth attendants

Join us on Saturday, May 12th, at 7:30 p.m. for an interactive dinner party entitled "A Day in Her Shoes". When you RSVP to attend, a decorative Mother's Day card will be sent in your name from COHI to your "mother" of choice. This card will notify her that a donation has been made in her name for Mother's Day supporting the training of local midwives in Tanzania and will have a photo of the midwives on the front. RSVPs are required by May 6th to ensure delivery in the U.S. by Mother's Day. Donations will be collected at the event for RSVP'd guests. The suggested donation is 80 shekels per card sent. This donation also covers your dinner and drinks at the event.

We hope to see you there, and please spread the word if there are others in the Be'er Sheba area you feel might be interested in attending and supporting your fellow students in this exciting project. To learn more about this project you can visit COHI's website at www.cohintl.org.

To RSVP, send an email to sera@cohintl.org or call 052-604-2561. The event will take place at 28 Homa Umigdal, Be'er Sheba.

Warmly,
