There are many different ways that you can continue your support of COHI and its work around the world in partnership with disaster and conflict affected women. It is our pleasure to highlight two such efforts of COHI supporters like you who are working locally to bring people together for a few hours of fun while contributing to COHI's fundraising needs. Hank Rosso said, "Fundraising is the gentle art of teaching the joy of giving".  The joy of giving was all around on Thursday, January 18th at Lolita bar in New York City.  Approximately 30 professionals from all walks of life attended a happy hour fundraiser in which money was raised for an amazing organization, Circle of Health International.  Themes of this event included contribution, fun, and raising awareness about COHI’s important work.

I chose to support the COHI through hosting a fundraiser because this organization is in alignment with what is most important to me in this world, supporting the basic rights, health and wellness of all individuals.  This event was great on so many levels.  People had a chance to relax and unwind on a very cold winter day, meet others who are committed to giving back and learning about the COHI.  Did I also mention we had a raffle consisting of amazing prizes!

I feel honored and privileged to have been able to contribute to such an amazing organization.  Accordingly, I feel confident in saying that everyone who attended the COHI fundraiser left feeling enthusiastic and inspired.  I strongly encourage others to create a fundraiser for COHI.  I promise that you will certainly receive more than you give!

	Join DC area COHI supporters on February 28th from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Old Dominion Brewhouse for an evening of fun, food, and friends. Beer and mixed drinks will be $2.99 and appetizers will be half price for our entire party.   A $10 donation gets you in the door and puts a raffle ticket in your hand (with more raffle tickets for sale at the happy hour).
